Charitable Giving Committee: 


Madeline Cline

As Accounts Director for Golden Bridge Strategies, Madeline Cline helps clients connect with and navigate selling to the state of California. Madeline also serves as the Advocate for TechCA, lobbying on behalf of the technology industry on procurement, privacy, infrastructure, and business issues. Previously, Madeline focused exclusively on the interests of public agencies. Madeline is an alumnus of the Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellowship where she worked on policy areas such as housing, revenue & taxation, public safety, and natural resources. Madeline graduated from Sonoma State University, where she studied Political Science and Sociology.

Natalie Lenhart

Natalie Lenhart is a Senior Program Director at Capitol Impact, a political and social impact consulting firm based in Sacramento. In this role, Natalie works on the implementation of various state, local, and philanthropic social impact initiatives. She specializes in coalition building, cross-sector collaboration, workforce development, education, and strategic planning. Previously, Natalie worked on Assembly and Senate campaigns and spent time as a constituent services representative. She received her B.A. in Comparative Government at UC Berkeley and her Master’s in Public Administration & Policy at the USC Price School of Public Policy.

Erin Norwood

As a Partner of Norwood Associates, Erin Norwood provides clients with more than a decade of experience and a strong understanding of insurance, technology, health, and consumer issues. Erin has successfully lobbied the California Legislature, Governor’s office, and State Administrative Agencies on significant issues such as workers’ compensation, cable and internet legislation, pharmaceuticals, personal, property and life insurance, taxation, gambling and internet poker legislation. Erin is a graduate from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Studies with an emphasis in Political Communications.  She also is a graduate from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with a Master’s of Science in Law.

Margo Parks

Margo Parks joined the Boehringer-Ingelheim team in August 2021 as Senior Associate Director, State Government Affairs

Drawing on her experience advocating for both a trade association and a contract lobby firm, Margo navigates policy and politics to help achieve the organization’s goals in the legislatures across multiple states.

Prior to joining Boehringer-Ingelheim, Margo was a lobbyist at Western States Petroleum Association ( WSPA) where she worked on a range of policy issues impacting the oil and gas industry. Prior to working at WSPA, Margo worked at Political Solutions, has been employed by the California Cattlemen’s Association, and is an alumnus of the California Senate Fellows program.

Margo graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from Scripps College, Claremont, Calif.

Deanna Jarquin 

Deanna Jarquin serves as a Legislative Advocate for the Personal Insurance Federation of California. Prior to joining PIFC, Deanna was a Legislative Aide for Assembly Majority Leader Ian C. Calderon where she primarily advised him on policy issues related to education, insurance and banking and finance. She is an alumnus of the Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellowship. Deanna is a graduated from California State University, Chico with undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Women’s Studies.

McKinley Thompson-Morley

McKinley Thompson-Morely works in Senator Steve Glazer’s office as a legislative staffer. She majored in political science at SDSU. She graduated with honors and was named the Outstanding Political Science Graduate of 2018. While at SDSU she was a resident advisor, a student in the Weber Honors College and an intern in Governor Jerry Brown’s Office of Legislative Affairs. 

MENTORSHIP COMMITTEE: 

Kelsey McQuaid-Craig

Kelsey McQuaid-Craig, MPA, CAE joined California American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) in 2012 after working on the boards of local and statewide Democratic Party organizations. She serves as the Director of Policy and Programs, staffing the organization’s Board of Directors, planning the annual conference, among other responsibilities. Prior to that she worked as Program Associate and Government Affairs Associate for California ACEP. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California at Davis and her Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California. She is a Certified Association Executive through the American Society of Association Executives.

Ivy Brittain

Ivy Brittain is a Legislative Advocate for the San Diego County Water Authority’s Government Relations Department. Prior to joining the Water Authority, Ivy served as a Field Representative in former Assembly Member Don Wagner’s Orange County district office. She received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine.
